EPIC BEAVER FOOTAGE! On Friday I managed to sit very still in the midst of the beaver family as they did beaver things. Here you will get an up close view as ChewBarka pushes one beaver away from the food, and then that beaver munches near my extended arm holding my camera. A truly awesome beaver experience from this evening, captured on video for your enjoyment. Three beavers ventured over to the corner where I was sitting. Two of the beavers started grooming each other in the water; and then the third did a quick groom on shore right beside me until he was startled. But then Spud sat on the dam and did her whole grooming routine; rubbing oil all through her face and body (which keeps her waterproof) before slipping back into the pond for a snack. It is incredible
