Company was founded by Joseph Koury and Bill Kirkman as Kirkman & Koury Homebuilders. Prior to partnering with Kirkman, Koury began his career in real estate by buying moth-balled barracks at the Overseas Replacement Depot, cutting them up and moving them to lots to sell as starter homes to soldiers returning from World War II.
