Oct 13, 2004 · I am having some trouble with Smart Fasteners (SF). I have a plate with 2 tapped holes in it. The plate has 2 configurations (right hand side and left hand side). The holes are the same size and positions in both configs. The way I created 2 holes was this: I created one hole using Hole Wizard and then feature patterned it to get the second hole.

Apr 26, 2006 · I'm using the smart fastener feature in my assembly (made up of several weldments). When putting a bolt through a hole, (holes created with the hole wizard) I'm not getting the option of a "BOTTOM STACK". As a result, I can't put the nut/washer on the end of the bolt. Is there something I'm doing wrong that I'm not getting the bottom stack option?

I understand the position callout, fixed fastener vs. floating. I understand the bonus tolerance as you leave MMC and so forth. My question- Two injection molded plastic parts.

Apr 27, 2010 · You cannot set the charging voltage, but it is a 'smart' charger and it can charge Pb batteries, do you think it can charge the gel battery without damaging it? I also have a car battery charger (a regular 12V 4amp charger), but I don't think this is classified as a 'smart' charger because it's quite old.

Apr 15, 2005 · As a manufacturer of boilers and heat exchangers I am looking for a smart method for generating a hole patter within a circular tube plate. Maybe using iLogic for changing hole diameter, pitch and angel between holes. The same pattern should also be available in the assembly for component pattern. Any good ideas?
