Melbourne Beach is one sleepy town. The beach itself is rough surf and dangerous rip currents. There are three or four restaurants and that’s it. Bring lots of books if here for awhile. That being said, cool pier will take up 30 minutes or so. Nice neighborhoods to walk through with little traffic. Great place if you want quiet time.
