Jan 24, 2023 · Here's the most unbiased take I can muster. The Index is not a good value at all. $1000 for below quest 2 resolution is a bad deal. With that being said, everything else about the Index beats the Vive Pro 2. It has better audio (microphone and headphones), better controllers, and better refresh rate.

Dec 14, 2023 · Vp2 is not worth it. Tried it for one day and returned it. Glare, poor lens clarity, terrible vertical fov and sweet spot, too much heat. Resolution despite being high is spread too thin across the lenses so it defeats the purpose. Only tiny place in the middle has no SDE. Rest of the lens has clearly visible pixels.

I did three things at the same time. 1) Disabled "Hardware-accelerated Gpu Scheduling" in windows Graphics settings. and 2) disabled nvidia overlay in nvidia geforce experience app. 3) I also put a sheet over my OLED TV.
