After he was fired from Black Sabbath early in 1979, Osbourne formed a solo band (initially known as Blizzard of Ozz) in November of that year with guitarist Randy Rhoads, bassist Bob Daisley and drummer Lee Kerslake.

In the middle of the show he turned the bass over and started grating his knuckles on it. Blood was streaming down his arms – it was quite a spectacle!

Which of course meant that Ozzy had to find yet another replacement bassist before he could start work on the next studio album,Bark at the Moon.. This leaves me thinking that this Don Costa bloke is a bit of a nutter and maybe he's on the run from the Police or looked up in some Mental asylum...
