Jan 21, 2024 · I was shooting at an indoor range a few years back,,, They wouldn't allow any picture targets at all,,, The owner said it was actually illegal to do. At the time the targets that were popular were O'Bummer,,, He said there was a law forbidding shooting at presidential images. I doubt that it was "law",,, But again, just in very bad taste.

Apr 15, 2007 · Shooting while moving; Shooting at moving targets; Shooting from unusual positions (sitting, crouching, kneeling, etc.) This of course should not be the be-all-end-all of your training. You can never have too much training.

Jan 2, 2018 · We will set targets to desired distances if needed. We are capable of shooting paper out to 800 yards but generally only shoot paper to 300 yards and then move to steel targets. We will help spot for shooters and help troubleshoot any problems. We can also arrange shooting courses thru a third party.We can do half day or full day shoots.

Jul 16, 2013 · The Wildlife management areas, and corps of engineers land around most reservior's, are not open for plinking/target shooting. Only during hunting seasons. Reason is a safety issue. Some idiot would be trying to pop turtle heads with ski boats in the background, etc.

Nov 15, 2024 · The Browning is probably a little more comfortable to me, nice easy feel, softer shooing; but, when it comes to speed shooting at targets and getting on the targets, I think the Ruger is the better gun, better weight distribution, easier to control, a bit more reliable during speed shooting.

Dec 22, 2023 · All targets have to be on the berm between 2-7 feet on a 20' berm. Fortunately, our drop out for the rifle bays is 4 miles, but you never know if a farmer or someone driving down the road is going to take an errant round that left the range.

Jul 13, 2021 · Several WMA ranges don't have target stands. People drag out boxes and all sorts of trash to shoot. Unfortunately, many of them leave the trash out there when they are done. These ranges look more like a trash dump than a shooting range. Lexington is the nicest WMA range I have found. We have been going out there for the last couple of years.

Shooting my CZ-512 Carbine and trying to hit golf ball sized targets at 50 & 100 yards. Shooting my pair of Ruger 22/45's and trying to hit coke cans at 25 yards.
