A man was taken to jail in Florida after he exposed himself to customers inside a local T.J. Maxx store, according to police.

A Maryland man was arrested for exposing himself to children and customers inside a Daytona Beach T.J. Maxx department store, police said. The incident happened at the T. J. Maxx at 1115 Cornerstone Blvd. near the Tanger outlet mall on Jan. 11, according to a news release made public five days after the incident.

The suspect was seen in surveillance footage engaging in inappropriate behavior in the presence of customers, including juveniles, according to police.

Police in Daytona Beach said they arrested a man for exposing himself inside a department store. Officials said the incident happened Saturday inside a T.J. Maxx on Cornerstone Boulevard, near LPGA Boulevard and I-95. Investigators said several people inside the store, including a child, reported seeing a man named Johnnie Toler touching himself.
