Negotiations between the Parker administration and AFSCME District Council 33, Philadelphia's largest municipal workers' union, ended over the weekend without a deal as the strike entered its seventh day Monday.

Sanitation workers are still on strike and Philadelphia is having a hard time emptying the more than 60 dumpsters set up as temporary trash sties for residents. Brandon Goldner has the latest on the DC 33 strike and more from frustrated residents.

A strike by nearly 10,000 city workers in Philadelphia has stretched into a third day. Trash continued to pile up Thursday in some areas, and a judge ordered more than 30 Medical Examiner’s Office staffers back to work because of a growing backlog of bodies in storage.
