Insomniac's version of Spider-Man is heading to Marvel Rivals in a collab that ties in with the PC release of Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 skin, which refers to the Advanced Suit 2.0 developed by Peter Parker using Otto Octavius technology, can only be unlocked by purchasing it through the in-game store. This was confirmed through the official posts revealing the skin's arrival in Marvel Rivals' social media channels.

This approach seems to be working out quite nicely, especially given the fact that Marvel Rivals has hit a new peak concurrent player count on Steam with the release of season 1. That's a rare thing, y'know. It's not often a game manages to surpass it's launch figures, so here's hoping the game can keep it up in the coming year.
