An earlier version of this article stated that Haunted Mansion would be open during the Halloween season. Disneyland officials have since updated the opening date for Haunted Mansion Holiday. The seasonal overlay will open on Aug.

The Haunted Mansion is currently closed to transition out of the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay and when it reopens on January 18, it will be the first time since August 2023 that the traditional version of the mansion has been open. Considering the extended closure, an extended run of the classic mansion isn't the worst idea.

Disneyland Resort has announced new information regarding its iconic Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay, including official dates for 2025.

The popular Haunted Mansion Holiday inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas will return in August, as it traditionally does— not November, as was erroneously reported after incorrect dates were published on the Disneyland site.

According to Disneyland officials, Haunted Mansion Holiday will return for Halloween Time 2025 at Disneyland Resort.
