Former Patriots DC DeMarcus Covington reportedly joining NFC team
Covington spent last season as the defensive coordinator for the Patriots under Jerod Mayo. It was his first season at the position, and the defense struggled on the field, giving up an average of 342.9 yards per game and 5,829 yards on the season overall.
