One year after Miami Beach launched a viral marketing campaign about the city’s desire to “break up” with spring break, officials are rolling out new messaging and similar strict safety measures in hopes of repeating the results they saw in March 2024.

Miami Beach is again cracking down on spring break activities after incidents of public intoxication, property damage and fights.

As part of its yearslong effort to curb raucous partying, the city created “Reality Check,” a video in which revelers break the rules and suffer the consequences.
