In 40 years as Kearney Cemetery supervisor, Steve Baye has overseen 5,000 burials, added 16 acres, built three columbariums and updated technology. He will retire June 13.

Colonel Bryan Waugh will begin his new job with Nebraska State Patrol. His previous job was chief of police in Kearney.
