The man accused of burning a sleeping woman to death inside a NYC subway train pleaded not guilty on Tuesday morning.

The 57-year-old, of Toms River, N.J., was set on fire as she slept in an F train stopped at the Coney Island-Stillwell Ave. station on Dec. 22.

The woman, Debrina Kawam, had a New Jersey address, according to NYPD. Kawam died on Dec. 22 after being set on fire while inside a New York subway train.

The suspect is accused of setting a sleeping woman's clothes on fire, using his shirt to fan the flames and then sitting on a platform bench nearby.

Prosecutors say the man lit a New Jersey native on fire on a stopped F train at Brooklyn’s Coney Island station in late December.
