Soap opera star Francisco San Martin died by suicide Jan. 16 at the age of 39. The actor was most recognized for playing the role of Dario Hernandez on “Days of Our Lives” from 2010 to 2011. The County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner confirmed that San Martin took his own life in his home.

Leslie Charleson, who starred as Dr. Monica Quartermaine on the soap opera “General Hospital” for nearly 50 years, has died at the age of 79. Frank Valentini, who is an executive producer for “General Hospital,” announced Charleson’s death in a post on social media. According to USA Today, Charleson died of complications from a long illness.
