In "Happy Gilmore," Adam Sandler's angry golfer fought the ball-eating gator. But when alligator actor Morris died at 80, Sandler paid respect.

The 640-pound, 11-foot gator memorably played a golf-ball-stealing, hand-chomping terror in the 1996 Adam Sandler film.

Farm owner and operator Jay Young didn't know exactly how old the gator was, but from Morris's growth rate and tooth loss over the years, he had estimated Morris to be over 80 years old with the possibility of him being 90 or 100 years old when he died.
