The Toronto Maple Leafs have sent Dennis Hildeby to the Toronto Marlies and re-called Matt Murray, the club announced on Thursday. Hildeby is expected to start when the AHL club hosts the Belleville Senators at Scotiabank Arena as part of the Marlies' annual holiday game at the NHL venue.

Murray stopped 24 of 27 shots against the Sabres, securing his first NHL win in 638 days. The victory also improved his career record against Buffalo to 7-2-1. With the win, Murray secured the belt from his teammates for the player of the game.
