Hoda Kotb told Kelly Clarkson on the Jan. 6 episode of 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' that she's currently working on her next big career move, and hopes to have it in the public's hands this spring.

Hoda Kotb might be leaving the “Today” show, but that doesn’t mean her career is in the rearview mirror. During an appearance on the “Kelly Clarkson Show” Monday, the journalist was probed on her future career plans after she says goodbye to the beloved morning show later this week.

Hoda Kotb began her journalism career at NBC in 1998, when she was hired as a Dateline correspondent and reporter. The TV broadcaster pivoted away from covering major world events in September 2007 when she joined Today as host of the show's fourth-hour slot at 10 a.m.
