Cleveland Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley each received recognition in the NBA's MVP voting process.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was named the NBA's MVP for the 2024-25 season on Wednesday, but the rest of the Oklahoma City Thunder were big winners too.

The official league results for MVP voting were released on Wednesday, with OKC Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander winning his first NBA MVP trophy with 913 total points. He beat out Denver’s Nikola Jokic (787 points), Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo (470 points), and Tatum (311 points) for the accolade.

Antetokounmpo, who has won the MVP award two times, took to social media after finding out that Gilgeous-Alexander won the trophy this season. The Greek Freak, who has been very active on X recently, jokingly asked if Charania got hacked.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James finished sixth in the NBA MVP voting, notably receiving one fourth-place vote and 13 fifth-place votes, per NBA Communications.

Corbin Carroll had a breakout 2023, winning the National League Rookie of the Year award in a unanimous vote. His 2024 follow-up didn’t go quite so smoothly, with a dreadful first half seeing him take a batting average below .

Steph Curry also had a somewhat memorable campaign. He led the Golden State Warriors to a 48-34 record to finish seventh in the Western Conference, but it isn't a massive achievement, considering the former back-to-back MVP's career resume.
