A walkout by hundreds of hospitality workers at a casino near the Las Vegas Strip entered its second day with union members willing to undergo the financial hardships of being out of work as they wait for a new contract.

LAS VEGAS -- Hundreds of hotel workers at a casino near the Las Vegas Strip went on strike just before dawn Friday after a long and highly publicized fight for a new contract.

Day two of the Culinary Workers Union's strike was in full effect outside of the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas Saturday as 700 union workers took to the streets to fight for better pay.
