Chelsea are interested in signing Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich before next week's transfer deadline but are not alone, with several clubs chasing the winger's signature

Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has confirmed Mathys Tel wants to leave the club. Standard Sport understands Chelsea have previously made an inquiry to sign the Frenchman earlier in the window, while Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United have also been linked.

Mathys Tel may have changed his mind and may now be looking to leave Bayern before the end of the transfer window on Friday, but unfortunately it sounds like Chelsea are not exactly high on his list of potential destinations.
