After a first quarter that was competitive with both teams tied 21-21, the Nets lost to the Clippers 126-67. Jalen Wilson had one of his best games in quite some time as he put up 16 points and three rebounds while Day'Ron Sharpe took advantage of the extra playing time to the tune of 12 points and 14 rebounds off the bench.

The Nets got that win as they beat the Trail Blazers 132-114 thanks to Brooklyn getting healthier with the returns of Johnson and Russell. Johnson came back like he never left to the tune of 24 points on 10-of-18 shooting from the field while Noah Clowney bounced back for an all-around outing of 20 points,

Cam Johnson and D’Angelo Russell returned Tuesday night for the decimated Nets, though Nic Claxton got added to their long injury list. Brooklyn had been winless in the five straight games that Johnson had missed with a right ankle sprain.
