Jota has sealed a sensational return to Celtic after completing a £9million switch from Rennes.

Celtic are eyeing a move for former winger Jota - as Rennes close in on a £10m deal for Japan forward Kyogo Furuhashi.

Kyogo has lifted the lid on his decision to leave Celtic for Rennes. His transfer from the Scottish Premiership champions to the Ligue 1 strugglers was made official this afternoon.

However, the club moves on and with the arrival of Jota, Brendan Rodgers has secured an ‘incredible’ talent for Celtic as the Hoops boss looks forward to seeing in the second half of the season with the Portuguese winger on-board.

Kyogo Furuhashi has completed his transfer from Celtic to Rennes, the clubs have announced. The Japanese striker has signed for the Ligue 1 side, after completing a medical in France. Kyogo had told Celtic earlier this season of his wish to move on and find a new challenge.
