Jota has sealed a sensational return to Celtic after completing a £9million switch from Rennes.

Kyogo Furuhashi has already broken a European record without making his debut for Rennes. The Japanese striker completed his move to the French Ligue 1 side on Monday, penning a two-and-a-half-year deal in Brittany, with winger Jota going the other way and making an emotional return to Celtic.

Kyogo Furuhashi has completed his move to Rennes and as he opened up on his decision to leave Celtic. The striker helped Brendan Rodgers' men book a Champions League knockout spot with one game to spare in his final appearance agaisnt Young Boys - with reports over a move to the Ligue 1 side starting instantly following the full-time whistle in Glasgow's east end.

After a delay in announcing that Kyogo had left Celtic for the Rennes, the Japanese striker is now officially a Ligue 1 player and no longer at Celtic Park. Rennes announced the purchase of Kyogo literally minutes after Jota joined Celtic and the news left many Hoops supporters heartbroken.
