Warren capped off his college career by winning the John Mackey Award as the nation’s top tight end and earning First-Team All-American honors; his 19 career touchdown receptions also rank fifth all-time in Penn State’s storied program.

The Jets were always going to have options at No. 7; they have needs all over the roster, and especially for a big playmaker. And they could have picked Penn State tight end Tyler Warren, or Arizona receiver Tetairoa McMillan: both were still on the board.
