Former Purdue superstar Zach Edey received NBA All-Rookie honors after averaging 9.2 points, 8.3 rebounds per game in his first year with the Memphis Grizzlies.

San Antonio Spurs guard Stephon Castle was the only unanimous first-team selection on the NBA All-Rookie team Tuesday. He was joined by Memphis teammates Jaylen Wells and Zach Edey of Toronto, among others.

Wells and Edey are the third pair of Grizzlies teammates to be named to the All-Rookie first team in the same season. Current Grizzlies Ja Morant and Brandon Clarke achieved this feat in 2019-20, while Pau Gasol and Shane Battier first did so in 2001-02.
