Winter weather system coming this weekend: 3 things you need to know
TOLEDO, Ohio — As we head into the weekend, a complex winter weather system is making its way toward our region, bringing a mix of snow, ice, rain and significantly colder temperatures. Our WTOL 11 Weather Team has been closely monitoring this system, which has prompted Weather Impact ALERT DAYS for both Saturday and Sunday.
Columbus under winter weather advisory for Valentine's Day weekend
There is no love from nature this Valentine's Day weekend. The National Weather Service in Wilmington issued a winter weather advisory for Saturday warning of a wintry mix of precipitation, with ice and snow possibly causing hazardous conditions on roads in and around Columbus.
FORECAST: Multiple rounds of winter weather heading into weekend
Temps fall into the 20s with rain/snow mix back to all snow late Saturday night. Snow on Sunday will be widespread with several inches of accumulation. Temperatures will stay below normal this week and well into next week. We won’t make it out of the teens Monday and Tuesday. Keep up with FOX 8 for the latest weather conditions.
