Tyra Banks is among the thousands of people in Los Angeles who have been impacted by the still-active wildfires that have swept through the area, but she’s thankful that most of her cherished mementoes weren’t lost in the fire.

Tyra Banks revealed during an appearance on a morning news show in Australia on Monday, Jan. 20, that she lost her home in the ongoing Los Angeles fires.

Tyra Banks opened up about losing her home in the recent L.A. wildfires that have displaced thousands of Los Angeles County residents. The former Dancing with the Stars host says she learned her house had burned down while working in Australia.

We went home, and we cried, and we had our moment,” the supermodel said of herself and partner Louis Bélanger-Martin.

I just didn’t want to pull a lot of attention to me,” she said. “I feel like there’s a lot of people that need that attention, so I haven’t really talked about it."

Tyra Banks revealed she is one of the many Los Angeles residents who were displaced due to the devastating wildfires that are sweeping through various areas in the city. The death toll has risen to 27 as thousands of people lost their homes, and unfortunately, reports state the toll is expected to increase.
