MIAMI GARDENS — Miami Dolphins quarterback Tyler "Snoop" Huntley was named for rap legend Snoop Dogg. Does Tyler prefer Tyler or Snoop?

The Miami Dolphins are signing quarterback Tyler "Snoop" Huntley off of the Baltimore Ravens practice squad. Huntley, 26, was a Pro Bowler in 2022 for the Ravens. Huntley, a native of Dania Beach, Florida, attended Hallandale High School and played college ball at Utah.

A multi-week absence (at a minimum) is in store as a result, and the Dolphins added quarterback depth in the form of Tyler Huntley. Skylar Thompson will serve as Miami’s starter moving forward, but the team opted to add Huntley off the Ravens’ practice squad on Monday.

Don’t wait, Mike McDaniel. Be bold and use Tyler “Snoop” Huntley’s most dangerous assets — his legs — this week when the Miami Dolphins visit the Seattle Seahawks. The Dolphins will need to find ways to generate offense for however long Tua Tagovailoa is out.
