It's been revealed that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League developer Rocksteady — previously of Batman: Arkham fame — was hit with another round of layoffs just before the end of 2024. The news comes via Eurogamer, who spoke to "half a dozen" anonymous staff affected by these most recent redundancies.

Rocksteady, the studio behind Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, reportedly laid off six more workers at the end of 2024.

That news came after Warner Bros. declared Suicide Squad to be a financial disappointment in February last year, with the game representing an embarrassing $200 million loss for the company's gaming division. There's only so much Hogwarts Legacy can do to offset a loss like that.

The cuts reportedly took place at the end of last year, impacting some programmers, artists and QA staff.
