ATLANTA — A man is dead after a shooting in southeast Atlanta late Thursday night. Police said it happened around 10:42 p.m. in the 1900 block of Fisher Road SE. When officers arrived, they found a 35-year-old man who had been shot, police said. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but he later died.

Police have blocked off a section of a southwest Atlanta neighborhood as they search for a suspect wanted in a fatal shooting Monday afternoon.
