A fan of former Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders is suing the NFL after Sanders wasn’t picked until the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. An unnamed fan in Georgia, who filed the lawsuit as “John Doe,” is suing the NFL for $100 million.

The biggest story of the 2025 NFL Draft was definitely the fall of Shedeur Sanders. The Colorado quarterback fell all the way to the fifth round. One of the most surprising parts of that fall is that the Las Vegas Raiders passed on him SEVEN different times before he finally got selected by the Cleveland Browns with the 144th overall pick.

The Tennessee Titans held onto the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft despite many offers to trade out. The Titans front office stood pat and stuck to their plan. In the end, Tennessee got their guy at the top and finished with seven picks.

Most analysts expected the Broncos to add more receiving talent for Nix in the 2025 NFL draft. They did exactly that by taking Illinois wideout Pat Bryant in the third round. He adds another big-bodied receiver to a room with Courtland Sutton and Devaughn Vele.
