While the country deals with the aftermath of Storm Éowyn, some parts of Ireland will continue to battle with poor weather conditions as a Snow-Ice alert has been issued

Ireland is still recovering from destructive Storm Eowyn, but more severe weather is on the way, with heavy snowfall expected to follow. Met Eireann has issued a new snow weather warning as the powerful Atlantic system continues to bring dangerous conditions.

Storm Eowyn has left its mark on Ireland and brought plenty of damage to Dublin overnight. The red weather warning has now passed for Dublin, with an orange warning currently in place until 12 noon. That will then downgrade to a yellow warning as strong gusts remain.
