The Big Bang Theory fans have been left seriously confused after the ‘absolutely insane’ plot of the upcoming spin-off was finally confirmed. The original sitcom ended in 2019 after 12 years on our screens, but sparked two separate prequel shows – Young Sheldon and George & Mandy’s First Marriage.

Kevin Sussman returns as Stuart in a sci-fi adventure that Chuck Lorre describes as something the original characters "would have loved, hated, and argued about."

On July 9, Deadline confirmed that HBO has ordered Stuart Fails To Save The Universe, which will star some of the original cast members, including Kevin Sussman (Stuart Bloom), Lauren Lapkus (Denise), Brian Posehn (Bert) and Ross Bowie (Barry Kripke).
