João Pedro scored twice, just six days after signing for Chelsea, as his new team booked its spot in the FIFA Club World Cup final with a 2-0 victory over Fluminense at MetLife Stadium on Tuesday.

The FIFA Club World Cup is now entering its final week of action as the two semifinals will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, while the final will take place at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. Chelsea managed to win 2-1 against Palmeiras in the quarters while Fluminense knocked out Saudi side Al-Hilal.

Much has been made about the vast riches on offer at this year's Club World Cup - and Chelsea are now closing in on the jackpot. Tuesday's 2-0 win over Fluminense not only saw them book their spot in the final but also pocket almost an extra £22m in prize money.
