Microsoft is planning to launch a 500GB Xbox 360 hard drive. The upgraded hard drive will be compatible with the Xbox 360 Slim and 'E' models, according to Eurogamer.

Both the Xbox 360 Slim and the newer Xbox One-inspired Xbox 360 E models launched with a 250GB hard drive included, although some special edition Xbox 360 Slim models included a larger 320GB drive.

The 320GB Xbox 360 hard drive, and presumably the 500GB unit, will be compatible only with the newer Xbox 360 S and Xbox 360 E models.
