Universal has announced a new theme park with 'thrilling rides' and 'several themed lands,' but it's location is not in Florida or California.

U.S. media giant Comcast Corp has chosen an area north of London for its first Universal theme park and resort in Europe, pledging to build rides and attractions based on its movie franchises that it hopes will rival Disneyland Paris.

A source close to the Universal UK project has told the BBC what fans can expect from the new park being built in Bedford. James Bond, Paddington and Lord of the Rings are among the brands set to appear at the park,
