Bass, crappie and channel catfish may not be prevalent in Southwest Washington, but they can be found in a lot more locations than anglers realize.

Chuck Morgen, proprietor of Silver Lake Motel and Resort (274-6141), reports that significant numbers of crappie are being taken from the water surrounding his docks.
