The Washington State Supreme Court has ruled that Seattle police officers who attended the January 2021 rally and protests at the U.S. Capitol can be identified in public court records

The Washington Supreme Court has ruled Seattle police officers who attended the Jan. 6, 2021, rally and protests at the U.S. Capitol should be identified in court papers and have not shown that the release of their names through public disclosure will violate their right to privacy.

Four Seattle police officers who attended events in Washington, D.C. on the day of the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection can be identified.

Today, the stepfather of a Seattle teenager was charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter after the young boy was allegedly beaten to death by his mother at the end of January. The mother pled not guilty yesterday.

Seattle police say the couple allegedly attempted to clean up the scene before they called 911 after they realized the 14-year-old boy was not breathing.
