Roombas have always been a staple in the robot vacuum market because iRobot is often the first brand to bring innovative new robot vacuum features to the mainstream. Everyone was wowed by a robot vacuum that could remember a map of your home or empty itself with the i7+ in 2018, or a robot vacuum that could avoid phone chargers with the j7 in 2021.

Needless to say, iRobot's line-up of eight new robot vacuums are impressive. The stand-out models include the Roomba 205 DustCompactor Combo (wet and dry) that costs $469, the Roomba Plus 405 Combo Robot + AutoWash Dock priced at $799 and the Roomba Plus 505 Combo Robot + AutoWash Dock for $999.

Robot, the creator of the Roomba and the company that popularized robot vacuums in the first place, told investors on Wednesday that it has "substantial doubt about [its] ability to continue." Beyond declining sales — the company reported that revenue decreased 47 percent in the US over the prior year in its fourth quarter earnings — iRobot is also struggling to pay off its debts.

The new Roombas include the 105 model and 105 Combo starting at $299, the Roomba 205 DustCompactor and a Combo variant starting at $449, the Plus 405 Combo Robot and AutoWash Dock

With models ranging from $299 to $999, the new Roomba lineup promises stronger suction power, enhanced navigation, and an innovative bagless solution for dust storage.

After a tumultuous 2024, in which iRobot lost its founder and CEO, Colin Angle, Amazon abandoned its acquisition plans, and the company laid off a large portion of its staff, iRobot is back with a major shake-up of its robotic vacuum line.

Robot's Roomba has been at the forefront of some of the best robot vacuums and robot mops around, boasting advanced technology and packed full of smart features and top design. But now it seems like the Roomba is getting even smarter.
