Coach Ryan Silverfield called Memphis football's play against Navy "one of the worst performances I've seen by our defense in a long time."

Memphis entered the game ranked No. 23 in the US LBM Coaches Poll and in what appeared to be pole position for a College Football Playoff spot. But that may have all gone out the window with the loss.
