( JTA) — Family members of Israelis held hostage in Gaza appeared onstage with President Donald Trump during a post-inauguration rally in Washington, D.C., on Monday. They were joined by Noa Argamani, a former hostage who was freed by the Israeli army in June.

Donald Trump greeted the family members of Israeli hostages at his inauguration parade Monday night at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. Families of hostages from Israel attended the inauguration parade, including several with family members still in captivity and others whose loved ones have died.

Families of hostages and deceased loved ones who are still in Gaza were recognized during Steve Witkoff’s speech during the inaugural parade on Monday. Witkoff is the newly appointed Special Envoy to the Middle East.
