Hunting Fishing Fishing report, Nov. 15-21: Good crappie action at Lake McClure and the bass and catfish are biting at Lake Isabella and of course the Delta stripers.

The Isabella Lake Fishing Derby is a family friendly event where participants fish in Lake Isabella and have the chance to win cash prizes if they catch a tagged trout.

Central California fishing report, Sept. 25-Oct. 1: Don Pedro bass, trout and king salmon hitting. Isabella trout and crappie on a tear, and Pine Flat king salmon delighting anglers.

The Isabella Lake Fishing Derby is taking place from March 23 through March 25 and features the chance to win cash prizes.

While Lake Isabella may be seeing the best bite right now, other waters will good to excellent crappie fishing right now include Lake Success, Lake Nacimento, and Lopez Lake.
