A man has died following a fall at Holiday Shores Campground and Resort near Wisconsin Dells.

Wisconsin Dells High School hosted the seventh annual Holiday Market in its commons area on Dec. 16.

Tourist attraction operators in the Wisconsin Dells area say their expectations are reduced as the historical beginning of the visitor season commences this Memorial Day weekend.

On Monday, the train made stops in Portage, Wisconsin Dells, Mauston, Tomah, Sparta and La Crosse. The train is decked out with holiday lights and hosts concerts while it is stopped in each town.
