Pickens, 24, was drafted in 2022 and has racked up 2,841 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns in his three-year career. After a 900-yard season with just three touchdowns, and the offseason arrival of DK Metcalf on a four-year, $132 million extension, Pickens appears likely to slide into a WR2 role in Pittsburgh.

Las Vegas desperately needs a receiver and would likely trade as high as a second-round pick to acquire one of Pickens' stature. The Raiders have the draft capital to pull off a trade with the Steelers. Las Vegas, in addition to having the No. 6 overall pick, has second- and third-round picks that could be used to acquire Pickens.

Metcalf will enter the Steelers’ receiving corps as its top target, usurping receiver George Pickens and his knack for generating highlights. There’s a significant role for Pickens in this offense, albeit complicated by a redundant skill set joining the group, but in a contract year, Pickens’ long-term standing is in limbo.
