Glass half full? While ESPN and YouTube TV continue their dispute over carriage terms and pricing, the Worldwide Leader has tossed its audience a few breadcrumbs. In a move to temporarily appease
ESPN’s College GameDay is in Lubbock, Texas. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will be the guest picker. And YouTube TV customers will continue to not be able to watch. For the second straight weekend, ESPN is making the three-hour pregame show available at no charge on the ESPN App. The show is also streaming on Pat McAfee’s Twitter page.
ESPN may have a deal to finally restore the network to YouTube TV, but they will continue to air one of their flagship programs, College GameDay, for free without need for authentication or a cable or satellite subscription.
