Buffalo was the epicenter of a major deadly freezing storm that swept across the United States and Canada killing some sixty people of which 37 in Eire County, according to official Mark Poloncarz.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A cold front will swing in this evening between 5 and 7pm with a line of brief gusty showers, possibly a thunderstorm. Once this line passes, we'll have some clearing into tonight.
