With fishing season in full swing, Bassmaster has unveiled its list of the 100 Best Bass Lakes in America, and Michigan is well represented.

Clear Lake in Lake County topped Bassmaster’s July 8 list of “2025’s 100 Best Bass Lakes in America,” for the first time in five years.

The best bass fishers in the world are competing on Lake St. Clair as part of a four-day Bassmaster tournament, with the winner taking home a $100,000 prize.
