Will Cain, a “Fox & Friends Weekend” co-host and former ESPN personality, is taking over the afternoon Fox News time slot that was hosted by Neil Cavuto.

Will Cain, a popular co-host of the weekend edition of “Fox & Friends” will take over the 4 p.m. slot at Fox News Channel anchored for many years by Neil Cavuto, part of a series of programming changes in daytime and weekends at both the network and its sister outlet Fox Business Network.

As is customary, Fox News Channel is appointing from within to fill a vacancy in its weekday lineup created by last month's departure of Neil Cavuto.
